Our client, Tourismus, Freizeit & Kultur GmbH Kühlungsborn (TFK), is a wholly owned subsidiary of the town of Ostseebad Kühlungsborn. With around 25 employees, TFK promotes the reputation and tourism development of Kühlungsborn, with the aim of increasing the attractiveness of the predicatized seaside resort and promoting sustainable urban development in the leisure and tourism sector. In addition to tourism administration and marketing, TFK also organizes cultural and leisure activities such as events and festivals and works closely with all regional partners. The company thus makes a decisive contribution to the touristic attractiveness and cultural diversity of this special destination.
Your tasks
Fully responsible operational and strategic management of the company
Development of a comprehensive new tourism concept for the location
Parallel development of a new corporate concept to further modernize the organization and adapt it to the new goals
Contemporary management and further development of the team
Assuming comprehensive commercial responsibility
Responsibility for all relevant marketing activities
Coordination of tourism events and activities
Promoting the sustainable and future-proof development of the Baltic seaside resort
Active participation and representation in tourism committees, institutions and working groups
Project management
Active and communicative networking at all levels, both internally and externally
Your qualifications
Ideally a degree (preferably with a focus on tourism) or alternatively a convincing practical background
Several years of professional experience in the first or second level of a tourism company as well as positive references in destination marketing or a comparable area of responsibility
At least initial experience in dealing with the requirements of companies in a municipal environment
Leadership experience and a modern, appreciative and communicative management style
Strategic way of thinking in conjunction with convincing operational implementation skills
Very good commercial understanding
Networker with communication skills
Proven expertise in business management, marketing and digital media
A keen sense for current developments and trends in tourism
Experience in dealing with the media, public relations and politics
(Multi-)project management skills
Confident knowledge of German and English
