Rickmers Hotelbetriebs GmbH and Helgoland Kulinarik GmbH on the island of Helgoland are looking for a motivated Assistant to the Operational Management (m/f/d) to support the Operational Management with commitment and professionalism. Your tasks:

  • Optimization of work processes: analysis and continuous improvement of processes in all areas of the two companies in cooperation with the operational management and the department heads.
  • Administrative tasks: Booking and processing reservations using the Protel hotel system, creating offers for events in the restaurants, maintaining master data in the Matrix Neo POS system and working closely with other departments.
  • Activities and offers: Advising guests on daily activities in the hotel and on the island as well as tourist offers to increase guest satisfaction
  • Ensuring quality standards: Monitoring and compliance with service, hygiene and operational standards as well as continuous quality improvement.
  • Active cooperation: Vacation replacement of the housekeeper, restaurant and event service, supporting both receptions as needed
  • Preparation of monthly inventories

Your profile:

  • Completed training in the hotel industry or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in the Rooms Division or F & B area
  • Friendly and professional demeanor and strong guest orientation
  • Knowledge of hotel software and cash register software, preferably in dealing with Protel or similar systems
  • Ability to work in a team and organizational talent as well as a structured way of working
  • Language skills: German and English
