“Do what needs to be done!” Under this premise, the Heinz Sielmann Foundation has been actively protecting nature in Germany for over 30 years. We are committed to safeguarding undissected natural landscapes and extensive biotope networks, with nationwide projects and sustainable land use for the long-term preservation of biological diversity in our country.
The Heinz Sielmann Foundation owns and manages large contiguous areas of high conservation value, including Sielmann’s Wanninchen Nature Landscape. The nature experience center in Wanninchen is the gateway to the landscape for visitors.
