As Operations Manager Entertainment Services (f⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) at sea chefs, you will manage operational processes in the entertainment sector – and immerse yourself in the world of cruises.
Your areas of responsibility at a glance:
- Planning, controlling and monitoring operational processes in the entertainment area for the Mein Schiff and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises fleets
- Disciplinary and technical management of a team of 7 people
- Guidance and supervision of operational management
- overarching coordination and communication on operational issues with the relevant specialist departments of the shipping companies
- Contact person for all operational issues for internal and external contacts
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
- Budget management and cost control in the area of responsibility
- Developing and optimizing processes to increase efficiency in coordination with the Head of Office Organization
- Preparation of analyses, monitoring and development reports for both the office and operational projects
- Co-responsibility for the conception and implementation of projects, innovations and digitalization in the area of responsibility
- Regular preparation of operational reports for team management
- High willingness to travel
Your course & your talents
Ideally you have:
- Completed studies in the field of event management, business administration, technology, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of operational professional experience – ideally on board a cruise ship and/or in the entertainment sector
- Initial management experience and a keen sense of team dynamics
- Strong organizational skills, a structured way of working and a high degree of personal responsibility
- Communication skills, negotiation skills and resilience – even in challenging situations
- Time flexibility and openness to changing operational requirements
- Business acumen and confident handling of MS Office
- Very good written and spoken German and good English skills
