The Deutsche Bundesbank is a special bank. Together with the ECB and the other European central banks, we ensure a stable euro. For this and other central bank tasks, we need a wide variety of specialists in the most diverse areas of work so that the institution can function.
Our catering team provides our national and international guests as well as our Executive Board with creative, high-quality dishes and menus and prepares them for various types of events.
The team is also responsible for the daily preparation of meals for our company kindergarten.
Your tasks
Upscale gastronomy / star level Gastronomic services for guests, board members, catering and daycare center catering
You will support the team in the preparation and plating of menus and dishes for events
You will be involved in the development of creative menu suggestions for upscale guest meals and events
You will prepare meals for the Bundesbank’s own daycare center and assist in the preparation of the daycare center menu
You will be jointly responsible for maintaining consistently high quality standards and hygiene requirements, including HACCP, food labeling and documentation of test results
Receiving goods, picking goods and assisting with stocktaking are also part of your area of responsibility
Your qualifications
Completed training as a specialist in the hospitality industry or as a chef
Professional experience in the above-mentioned area of responsibility in upscale gastronomy (star level)
Good knowledge of product knowledge and the preparation and cooking of food
Knowledge of the requirements for food hygiene and food law, including HACCP and food labeling
Knowledge of handling cleaning agents and cleaning procedures
Knowledge of the relevant accident prevention regulations
Good work organization
Ability to work in a team
Creativity

High service and customer orientation
Good knowledge of German
