Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your journey with us:
- As a host and the first point of contact for your guests, you’ll ensure smooth service and warm hospitality through your dedication in one of our gourmet and specialty restaurants or in one of our first-class bars.
- You’ll manage a service station for approximately 30 guests and coordinate your team of commis de rang.
- You’ll accompany guests on their culinary journey from the moment they arrive until they leave, serving up exclusive culinary experiences.
- In addition, you’ll manage the cheese cart or make wine and beverage recommendations. Depending on your assignment, you’ll also have the opportunity to fillet and carve dishes at the guest’s table.
- Contract duration for your first contract: 5–6 months (subject to individual agreement)
- Your start date will be determined by individual agreement based on your availability in conjunction with the on-board staffing schedule and is generally possible year-round.
Your Course & Your Talents
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:
- Training in the restaurant/hotel industry and 2 years of professional experience in à la carte service, ideally in upscale dining
- You’re ready to take on your first leadership responsibilities.
- You are reliable, resilient, and have no trouble staying service-oriented even in stressful situations.
- A strong willingness to work actively as part of a team.
- Excellent manners and hospitality skills
- Very good German and good English skills round out your profile.
