Your Job

Here’s what you can expect on your journey with us:

  • Daily supervision and support for cleaning and disinfection tasks throughout the entire provision area.
  • Assistance in ensuring compliance with ship safety criteria, the receipt of goods, and the secure storage of all inventory at all times.
  • Supporting the Hotel Inventory Controller with all necessary daily administrative tasks.
  • Close collaboration with the Hotel Inventory Controller, including regular document processing and timely reporting on any conflicts or disruptions in operations.
  • Responsible for ensuring sustainable workflows for all warehousing and loading operations, as well as compliance with agreed-upon quality standards.
  • Ensuring the preparation and delivery of ordered quantities to all ship departments and outlets in the F&B and non-food sectors.
  • Monitor strict compliance with safety, environmental, and hygiene guidelines (USPH/HACCP, ISM/ISO, SQM, HLC service standards) within the area of responsibility.
  • Conducting inventory counts and recording all best-by dates for the counted product groups.
  • Contract duration for your first assignment: 4 months, with the possibility of subsequent contracts.

Your Course & Your Talents

We’re looking for the best: you! Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

  • Completed training in the food industry or business field, or relevant practical experience.
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position; ideally, with experience working on ships.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, ideally the Crunchtime inventory management system).
  • You have strong product knowledge in the food industry as well as a solid understanding of U.S.P.H. and Ship San standards.
  • Flexibility, organizational skills, and an awareness of costs and quality are second nature to you.
  • You thrive in a team environment but can also work independently, and you are, among other things, reliable and able to handle pressure.
  • Very good German and English language skills.
