Your Job
The stage is yours! As part of the entertainment team, you’ll deliver top-notch entertainment and create unforgettable, spine-tingling moments:
- Primary role at the “La Cage: Burlesque, Bar, Casino” theater, featuring piano at the bar and live show accompaniment
- Entertaining guests with pleasant piano music in the genres of jazz, swing, evergreens, pop, rock, and film
- Providing musical accompaniment for events such as guest receptions or weddings
- Supporting and helping to organize synergies between different acts with musicians, singers, and guest artists—working closely with the Music Program Supervisor and Entertainment Supervisors
- Responsibility for the maintenance and care of all pianos on board in collaboration with the Music Program Supervisor and the Technical Supervisor
- Possible assignment as a substitute for the accompanist to accompany soloists in solo programs
Your Course & Your Talents
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:
- A wide repertoire spanning a variety of musical genres (German classical music, pop, evergreens, jazz, etc.)
- Availability for a four- to six-month assignment on board
- Professional musical training (knowledge of various musical styles; the ability to sight-read, read chords, and grasp new material quickly are essential)
- Experience as a bar pianist and in accompanying singers is desirable
- Experience in jazz music is absolutely required
- Good command of English; willingness to learn German
- Strong commitment to service and customer focus
