Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your journey with us:
- The voice and face of the ship, as well as the communications coordinator and program director for the voyage
- Handles all ship announcements and serves as the point of contact for any guest suggestions or concerns
- Program Director and Itinerary Planner (entertainment / events) responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the cruise program as well as cross-departmental activities for guests
- Hosting and actively participating in pre-determined show formats, events, and live TV programs, as well as the opportunity to create and host your own show formats
- Responsible for the professional management of the Entertainment Department and the Media Department, as well as the disciplinary leadership of the supervisor team
- Jointly responsible for meeting onboard revenue targets and reporting to shore-based revenue departments
- Regular coordination with the General Manager, Hotel Manager, and shore-based supervisors
Your Course & Your Talents
What you bring to the table:
- Experience in a leadership role at a cultural or entertainment organization, with
responsibility for and supervision of staff. - Several years of experience on a cruise ship, at an upscale hotel resort, or in the entertainment or leisure industry.
- Knowledge of structures and workflows in theater and shows, as well as an understanding of
artistic work and personal experience on stage or asa host - In-depth expertise with key financial metrics and their management
- Experience in high-end customer service, complaint management, and skills in team building and conflict resolution.
- Excellent general knowledge, good manners, and a friendly, confident demeanor
- Excellent command of German and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
