Your Job
London, Dubai, and Singapore? You won't just explore the most beautiful places in the world—you'll also provide our guests with the most amazing vacation experiences!
Together with the Sanitation Officer, you will:
- Ensuring that all workflows within the hotel comply with agreed-upon regulations regarding safety, health, hygiene, and the environment, such as USPH/VSP, Shipsan, HACCP, SQM, and MARPOL.
- Taking overall responsibility for IPM (Integrated Pest Management), including taking action and ordering the necessary equipment.
- Conducting internal hygiene inspections, as well as supporting and participating in all external public health inspections.
- Preparing, implementing, and regularly reviewing all logs and checklists related to HACCP and SQM.
- Conducting sanitation and public health training for new crew members and staff, as well as refresher courses for the entire ship’s crew.
- Duration of your first contract: 4–5 months; subsequent contracts are possible
Your Course & Your Talents
What you bring to the table:
- Certified, qualified training in hygiene or sanitation management, or at least 3 years of work experience in a comparable role.
- At least 5 years of work experience, preferably on board a cruise ship.
- In-depth knowledge of all relevant health and hygiene regulations.
- Very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of German (written and spoken).
- Good IT skills (MS Office)
- Managerial skills, assertiveness, flexibility, and organizational skills
- Ability to motivate employees
