Your Job

As a Procurement Administration Coordinator (w⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) at sea chefs, you can expect a varied range of responsibilities in international procurement with a direct focus on the cruise industry.

You will coordinate cross-functional matters, ensure high data quality, and support the procurement team in its day-to-day operations. In doing so, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth supply of our cruise ships.

Your main responsibilities will include, among other things:

  • Conducting data checks and verifying the accuracy of relevant purchasing, customs, and system data
  • Coordinating operational matters between Procurement, suppliers, and internal departments
  • Maintaining, managing, and ensuring the quality of procurement master data, as well as ensuring high-quality master data
  • Participating in cross-functional projects, e.g., assisting with requests for proposals and creating procedural guidelines, process charts, and documentation
  • Handling general coordination and administrative tasks
  • Supporting the procurement team in day-to-day operations, particularly in ensuring the supply of food & beverage and non-food items to cruise ships

Your Course & Your Talents

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A successfully completed business apprenticeship or comparable background—ideally with experience in purchasing, administration, or the maritime sector
  • Strong organizational skills and a structured, meticulous, and self-directed approach to work
  • A strong affinity for data and, ideally, some experience in master data management, master data maintenance, or with ERP or procurement systems
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; experience with Power BI, CrunchTime, or comparable systems is a plus
  • Team spirit, strong communication skills, and a passion for collaborating with both internal and external contacts
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
  • A valid work permit for Germany (e.g., EU citizenship, Blue Card, or another residence permit with work authorization) is required
