Your Job
Here's what you can expect on your journey with us:
- You’ll be a decision-maker and responsible for the entire service process in all 12 restaurants and up to 15 bars
- Direct reporting line to the Hotel Manager
- Professional and disciplinary leadership of one of the largest departments on board, with up to 200 crew members
- Budget management and ensuring that sales targets are met for all specialty restaurants
- Oversight of all merchandise orders and inventory for the restaurant and bar areas
- Presence in the restaurants and bars during service hours
- Point of contact for guests regarding suggestions, feedback, and complaints related to service
- Contract duration for your first assignment: 4 months, with the possibility of subsequent contracts
Your Course & Your Talents
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:
- Training in the restaurant or hotel industry, as well as several years of professional experience in a leadership role in the hospitality industry and aboard a cruise ship
- Excellent expertise in the food and beverage industry, as well as in beverages and wine, which you enjoy sharing with your team
- A natural leader with the ability to guide and motivate a team both professionally and in terms of discipline
- A well-groomed appearance and excellent manners
- Very good German and good English skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
