The areas of activity include, in particular:
Carrying out and, where necessary, coordinating all service activities at events, conferences, and meetings, as well as at dinners hosted by the Minister President and the ministers of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate, including set meals and buffets,
scheduling, instructing, and supervising external service staff.
We expect the following from you:
Completed vocational training as a restaurant server or hotel clerk, or a closely related, comparable program,
Several years of professional experience in the service industry,
Willingness to work early and late shifts and occasionally on weekends,
Flexibility and the ability to handle pressure,
Good teamwork and communication skills, as well as a friendly and outgoing personality,
A friendly and confident demeanor,
Good written and spoken German (at least C1 level),
Basic computer skills, preferably experience with MS Word and MS Excel,
Knowledge of German wines, particularly those from the Rhineland-Palatinate wine-growing regions.
Experience, knowledge, and skills acquired through family responsibilities or volunteer work will be taken into account when assessing qualifications in accordance with Section 8(1) of the State Equal Opportunity Act.
