Your Job

  • Operation of all stage machinery (lifting platforms, flying rigs, and point hoists, including passenger lifts) and onboard broadcast equipment
  • Setting up and taking down mobile broadcast equipment, as well as props, stage decorations, and furniture, and assisting with set changes during shows
  • Maintenance, upkeep, and management of stage machinery (stage equipment, machines, and props) and onboard broadcast equipment
  • Visual inspection, preparation, and follow-up of acrobatic equipment and rigging, as well as securing performers in harnesses and attaching them to acrobatic equipment (trapeze, silks, rope, etc.)
  • Managing entrances and exits, coordinating backstage operations
  • Compliance with stage-specific safety regulations
  • Close collaboration with lighting and sound technicians
  • Filming TV segments and other video content, including post- and pre-production for the in-flight entertainment program
  • Ensuring the proper functioning of all systems related to satellite reception and in-flight TV
  • Verifying the correct scheduling of TV programs and playlists
  • Coordinating repairs and orders
  • Administrative tasks and reporting

Your Course & Your Talents

Here's what you bring to the table:

  • Completed training as a certified event technology specialist or master craftsman (specializing in stage)
  • Excellent knowledge of theater and show production processes (musicals, theater, shows)
  • Experience operating stage and automation consoles (passenger lifts, overhead, under-stage, and side machinery)
  • Excellent knowledge of modern video technology (ArKaos, Mediamaster-Pro, Roland, Panasonic, Show Cue System, Q-Lab) as well as experience working with MIDI and timecode
  • Excellent knowledge of modern broadcast and editing technology (Blackmagic Design, Teracue, DaVinci Resolve)
  • High level of safety awareness
  • Experience in stage management is desirable
  • Proof of certification in the use of lifting equipment is desirable
  • Knowledge of the ARTTHEA control system is a plus
  • Basic computer skills
  • Very good German and English language skills
