Your Responsibilities
As a kitchen manager, you serve as the central point of contact between production, inventory management, human resources, and quality management. You actively participate in day-to-day operations and ensure that our meals are prepared at all times in accordance with established recipes, quality standards, and production guidelines.
Overall responsibility for organizing and managing kitchen operations
Ensuring smooth workflow in production and day-to-day operations
Active participation in food preparation
Ensuring compliance with specified recipes, production procedures, and quality standards
Stabilizing and continuously optimizing our lunch menu within the framework of established standards
Planning and organizing daily production processes
Contributing to the development and optimization of products and recipes
Planning and calculating menu plans for our locations based on established recipes and guidelines
Responsibility for inventory management, including purchasing, cost calculation, and cost control
Efficient planning of food costs and minimization of food waste
Leading, motivating, and developing the kitchen team
Staff scheduling and vacation planning
Your Profile
Completed training as a chef or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience, ideally in a commercial kitchen, institutional food service, or a comparable production kitchen
Experience leading a kitchen team
Proficiency in working with standardized recipes and production specifications
Knowledge of inventory management, cost calculation, and cost control
A commitment to quality and a structured, meticulous approach to work
Organizational skills and a sense of responsibility
Understanding of standardized and certified production processes
Enjoyment of further developing existing products and processes within the specified standards
