Your Job
Your job at sea marks the start of a new, exciting chapter—not just for you, but for us as well. Ready to come aboard? Your path:
Your two-year training program consists of theoretical and practical components and is conducted in collaboration with the renowned WIFI Tirol (Economic Development Institute).
The practical component consists of four modules on board: restaurant, bar, housekeeping, and other hotel services departments—in this area, you’ll gain experience in the professional fields of guest services, onboard tour guiding, commission, desktop publishing, and shore excursions. The start dates for the practical modules are flexible, and exams for all modules are administered onboard, followed by the final apprenticeship exam on-site at WIFI Tirol.
Who guides you through the program? The department heads of each area will accompany you on your training journey—a world-class team every step of the way. Great team!
Theory: On board, you’ll also demonstrate your motivation and self-drive: Through four 20-hour online learning modules, you’ll acquire all your knowledge through self-study—always with support from WIFI’s online learning platform.
Your modules: Front & Back Office, Business Administration & Hospitality, and F&B Basics—followed by exam preparation and training for your final apprenticeship exam at the WIFI Campus in Tyrol.
