For our Hamptons Café by Bergmann Boardinghouse, we are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and responsible manager to organize and coordinate both café operations and collaboration with the front desk of our adjacent Bergmann Boardinghouse.

Your Responsibilities

Management and organization of the café

• Independent organization and management of daily café operations
• Staff management, scheduling, and task assignment
• Ensuring smooth service operations
• Inventory management, ordering supplies, quality control, and adherence to hygiene standards

Collaboration with the reception desk at the Bergmann Boardinghouse

• Close daily coordination with the front desk team
• Coordinating and clearly assigning tasks between the café and the front desk
• Organizing joint workflows in day-to-day operations
• Coordination regarding guest inquiries, breakfast service, and special guest requests
• Ensuring reliable communication and seamless collaboration between both departments
• Assistance with organizational tasks related to the care of boardinghouse guests
• Check-in and check-out of boarding house guests

Our goal: A well-organized collaboration between the café and the front desk, where all tasks are clearly assigned and our guests feel completely at ease.

• Several years of experience in the hospitality industry, ideally in a leadership role
• Strong organizational skills
