Area Sales Manager HoReCa (m/f/d)
South region
As Area Sales Manager HoReCa you will report directly to the Head of Marketing and be responsible for the sales success in the HoReCa channel on the German market. Your focus will be on sales and customer responsibility, promoting the profitable growth of all Oettinger Davidoff brands - especially Davidoff - and ensuring strong demand generation and sustainable customer loyalty. In addition, you will be responsible for training HoReCa staff and regularly organize events to promote our brands and strengthen their presence in the market.
Your main tasks in this role essentially include:
- Expanding sales and profits in your territory
- Building and maintaining long-term business relationships with existing customers
- Acquiring new customers in the HoReCa segment
- Ensuring an appealing brand presentation and product placement
- Representing the brands at tastings, training courses and exclusive customer events, among other things
- Independent planning and optimization of route planning
- Regular customer visits
- Developing initiatives to increase customers' product knowledge
- Product advice, sales advice, according to the respective marketing focus
- Market observations
You are a winning, outgoing and motivating personality with the following qualifications:
- Basic commercial training
- Several years of experience in sales - preferably in the tobacco industry or the luxury food industry in general
- Strong understanding of brand building and presentation
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office products
- Results-oriented and customer-focused way of working
- Entrepreneurial and analytical thinking
- Open, uncomplicated, friendly and reliable manner
- Good interpersonal skills, empathy and social skills to promote constructive and positive collaboration
- Ability to organize yourself and an independent personality with a flair for successful consulting and training
- High willingness to travel and ideally a passion for cigars
