Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your journey with us:
- Through outstanding customer service and an inspiring shopping experience, you’ll work alongside the store manager to ensure high customer satisfaction and thus play a key role in the success of the Starboard store on board.
- Together with the manager, you’ll lead, support, and inspire the sales team to achieve top performance together.
- Your confident handling of business metrics and reports ensures effective business management.
- You’ll be responsible for the perfect presentation of merchandise and appealing visual merchandising.
- Using creative ideas, you’ll develop, plan, and coordinate exciting sales promotions.
- The contract term is 4–6 months, with the possibility of subsequent contracts.
Your Course & Your Talents
What you bring to the table:
- A vocational degree in the service or retail sector
- Ideally, hands-on sales experience aboard a cruise ship
- A passion for customer-focused consulting and sales with a strong emphasis on service
- Empathetic and team-oriented leadership skills that can motivate and coach others
- A strong focus on results and success, combined with an understanding of key performance indicators
- Organizational skills and the ability to consistently implement guidelines and policies.
- Enjoyment of working in an international team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build networks.
- Very good computer skills, especially MS Office
- Very good command of German and confident English skills (at least B2 level) in both spoken and written forms.
