Hotel Sombea will open its doors in October 2024 with the second hotel at the new location in Donaueschingen. Our guests can expect 78 modern rooms, conference rooms, the Déjà-Vu restaurant and a sophisticated cigar lounge with state-of-the-art technology. The large catering area with a total of three bar counters will offer culinary delights not only for hotel guests but also for external visitors. The new hotel impresses with its special location with a magnificent view and perfect transport links.
The name Sombea is made up of the two words “Somnum” and “Beatum”. The two terms stand for “happiness” and “sleep”. This is precisely the focus and concept of the hotel. For this sleeping comfort, 85 high-quality box-spring beds with different blankets and pillows are available. All rooms are equipped with a sophisticated ventilation system. Each room can also be individually heated or cooled via the air conditioning system. Modern layouts, large Smart TVs and open-plan shower areas make for an exceptional stay.

You have the ability to maintain an overview and work in a structured manner with attention to detail
