The Robert Bosch Hospital (RBK) is a facility of the Bosch Health Campus of the Robert Bosch Stiftung with several locations in Stuttgart. As a central care hospital with maximum care functions and 1,191 beds, the RBK with the RBK Lung Center Stuttgart, the Robert Bosch Hospital City site and the Clinic for Geriatric Rehabilitation admits up to 40,000 inpatients a year. The hospital operations with over 3,000 employees include 20 specialist departments, over 15 medical centers, an education center and a stake in another education and training center. In addition to the RBK, the Bosch Health Campus includes all of the Robert Bosch Stiftung’s research institutes and funding activities in the field of health. The RBK operates two kitchens that cater for several locations. In cooperation with a caterer, around 1,000 meals are served to patients, employees and visitors every day. We are looking for a department manager (m/f/d) with a high level of technical expertise for the food supply department, who will create and implement innovative supply concepts with us.
Your tasks
Coordination with catering with regard to the range and quality of food provided at all locations
Monthly invoice control of the catering services provided
Budget monitoring and monthly evaluations
Negotiations with catering and the works council regarding the price structure in the canteens
Ensuring the supply of mineral water at all locations
Preparation and support for change management processes in food supply
Participation in the planning and design of a new central kitchen for the RBK
Participating in regular hygiene inspections and monitoring the elimination of defects
Checking compliance with HACCP regulations
Participation in the nutrition commission.
Procurement of materials for the kitchen in cooperation with the purchasing department, including large appliances (no food)
Contact person for all departments in all matters relating to food supply
Your qualifications
Completed training as a cook (m/f/d) or hotel/restaurant specialist (m/f/d) with additional commercial qualification
Several years of professional experience in the area of central / canteen kitchens for clinics desirable
High service orientation as well as commitment, ability to work in a team and sense of responsibility
Good written and spoken German and English skills
