Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your journey with us:
- Decision-maker and overall responsible for ensuring smooth operations in the areas of guest services, first purser, concessionaires, and reporting to the hotel manager
- Responsible for leading, coordinating, and motivating a team of up to 50 crew members
- Responsible for managing and overseeing accounting and commercial tasks (including the cash book and credit card verification) as well as administrative duties
- Responsible for guest check-out on embarkation day
- Work closely with the Night Auditor on reports and daily closings
- Contract duration for your first assignment: 4 months; subsequent contracts possible
Your Course & Your Talents
What you bring to the table:
- Completed training in the hospitality industry or in a business-related field
- Several years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping, as well as experience working on board a cruise ship and leadership experience
- You are reliable, resilient, and able to stay calm even in stressful situations.
- A leader with the ability to guide your team both professionally and in matters of discipline
- Very good computer skills
- Very good German and good English skills
