as deputy kitchen manager (m/f/d) - possibly with the prospect of overall kitchen management
To strengthen our team in the central kitchen of the Baunataler Werkstätten, we have a permanent position with full-time weekly working hours to fill.
the Baunatal site has catering services in the form of a kitchen and a canteen, which provides clients with a lunch and canteen service. The Baunatal site currently serves around 250 clients and around 600 lunches for external customers.
These tasks await you:
- Responsibility and organization for the entire kitchen and canteen area in case of substitution
- Provision of communal catering at the location in a team consisting of employees and clients
- Preparation of offers and implementation of internal/external catering events as required
- Calculation and coordination of supply offers
- Merchandise management (ordering food)
- Monitoring and compliance with hygiene regulations according to HACCP as well as regulations and laws applicable to the kitchen area
- Staff deployment planning
- Guidance, support and supervision of clients
- Participation in the implementation of educational measures and therapeutic offers for clients, such as
- Planning and implementing qualification measures for clients in consultation with the kitchen management
What you need to bring:
- Qualified professional qualification with further training as a chef
- Professional experience as a kitchen manager, alternatively you have several years of professional experience in the learned professional field
- You have pedagogical empathy and a special interest in our clients and working with mentally and physically disabled people
- You are characterized by personal responsibility, commitment and a high sense of responsibility
- We expect an independent, service-oriented way of working
- You have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Sound knowledge and experience in the field of hygiene regulations and the Infection Protection Act are expected
- A vehicle driver's license is desirable
- Confident handling of modern IT rounds off your profile
