Our organic farm, “Die Kuhhorster,” is located northwest of Berlin in the Havelland region of Brandenburg. On approximately 520 hectares of land, we have established a demonstration farm for organic farming and the processing of organic products. About 90 people with disabilities work on the farm. With great care and patience, we process meat, milk, grains, and vegetables, which are then sold in the Mosaik farm stores and at organic markets in Berlin.
Your responsibilities:
Working in the cafeteria and the Dorfkrug
Designing the menu and seasonal meal plans
Assisting with the supervision and guidance of people with disabilities working at the facility
Assisting with the organization and smooth operation of kitchen operations
Ensuring a consistent standard of quality for the food offerings
Ensuring compliance with legal regulations for the food service industry, particularly hygiene regulations
What you'll bring to the table:
Completed vocational training as a chef
A passion for cooking and an eye for quality
Computer and software skills (MS Office, ERP systems)
Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred
