Your Job
Here's what you can expect on your journey with us:
- Assisting the chef de partie in your assigned role in the galley
- You’ll work in one of up to 12 restaurants and bistros on board and may be assigned to various positions (including saucier and garde manger)
- Responsible for creating high-quality dishes and menus, including all preparation and follow-up work
- Contract duration for your first assignment: 4–6 months; subsequent contracts are possible
- Your career advancement will depend on your availability in relation to the on-board work schedule and is generally possible year-round.
Your Course & Your Talents
Here's what you bring to the table:
- Completed vocational training as a chef (w⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) with an internationally recognized certificate
- Ideally, some initial professional experience in the food service industry
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, ingredients, and recipes
- You keep a clear head—even when things get hectic.
- Good German and English language skills
