Vinzenz von Paul Hospital gGmbH is a modern and well-equipped, nationally renowned specialist clinic with a tradition stretching back more than 125 years. It guarantees a high standard of psychiatric, psychosomatic and neurological care for a large catchment area (approx. 600,000 inhabitants) in a scenic and culturally diverse region of southern Germany.
We produce fresh meals every day using the “Cook & Serv” system. The food for our patients is served on a conveyor belt for each meal. The staff in our canteen kitchen (wholefood and diet) produce up to 1,100 hot lunches every day. These are needed to feed the patients and residents on the wards and in the affiliated workshops.
We also cater for our external facilities, such as Spital am Nägelesgraben and the day clinics, as well as employees and guests in the cafeteria. Conference catering and catering for numerous special events throughout the year round off the range of services.
Our kitchen team (currently 100 employees) is responsible for implementing this. The use of as many fresh products as possible with a regional focus is very important to us.
