The German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the raw materials and chemical industry (BG RCI) is part of the German social insurance system. We are a statutory accident insurance institution and are responsible for around 37,000 member companies nationwide, which employ around 1.6 million people. We advise and support our member companies in all matters relating to occupational health and safety. In the event of an accident at work or an occupational illness, we help the insured persons with comprehensive medical treatment and rehabilitation and thus contribute to the best possible reintegration into working life and life in the community.

For our Maikammer Training Center of the Prevention Department Qualification, we are looking for the following at the Maikammer site at the earliest possible date

a deputy kitchen manager /
a deputy kitchen manager (m/f/d)

The area of responsibility includes

  • Preparing meals as part of seminar operations or for special events,
  • be responsible for the labeling of allergens and additives
  • to manage and lead the kitchen area in the absence of the kitchen manager in a professional and disciplinary manner,
  • assist in the organization and coordination of the kitchen area,
  • assist in the preparation of menus in accordance with the guidelines for a balanced full catering service,
  • to purchase goods within the specified budget,
  • and to carry out cross-departmental tasks (e.g. participation in organizational meetings, further training and audits).

We require these qualifications:

  • successfully completed training as a chef,
  • the trainer qualification (AEVO),
  • The ability to work in a team and deal with conflict, the ability to self-reflect,
  • the ability to motivate employees,
  • strong communication and social skills as well as a friendly and respectful manner, even under difficult conditions,
  • a willingness to expand your knowledge and skills,
  • physical resilience,
  • a well-groomed appearance,
  • PC skills.
