We, the Congress- und Tourismus-Zentrale, market Bavaria’s second largest destination in the field of city tourism as well as meetings and conventions both at home and abroad. A good 40 employees in the Marketing, Convention, Service and Communication departments work as a strong team to ensure that Nuremberg and its special offers for national and international guests are made known worldwide.
Your tasks
Work in our tourist information offices at the main market and in the Handwerkerhof
Varied work – because every guest is different
Advising guests and locals on all matters relating to Nuremberg
Selling souvenirs and tickets for city tours and public transport
Contributing to the appealing presentation of the store
In particular the brochure and sales assortment
Active participation in team meetings for the further development of the Tourist Information
Assumption of shift management functions
In particular, supervising temporary staff and preparing the cash register statement
Your qualifications
Do you love Nuremberg and are you service-oriented?
Completed vocational training or a university degree
Extensive knowledge of Nuremberg and cultural affinity
Business fluent knowledge of the German language
Very good foreign language skills in English
Good foreign language skills in a second foreign language relevant to tourism
Professional experience in the service sector is an advantage
Strong service orientation and enjoyment of consulting and sales
Ability to work under pressure and professionalism even with a high workload
Reliable teamwork
Flexibility in working hours
IT skills in common web applications and the MS Office package are an advantage
