Your tasks
Acting as a guide for external events and supporting local cultural workers, associations and external event organizers in coordination with other city administration stakeholders
Awarding, planning, coordinating and controlling the proper handling of external events, such as the wine market or Northern Lights, which are organized in cooperation with the city, coordinating external service providers
Planning, implementation and monitoring of major and main city events such as the Christmas market, including coordination of external service providers, awarding of contracts and complete processing
Advising internal and external departments on the organization of events, including marketing
Supporting external event organizers for larger events such as the NDR Summer Tour or Lower Saxony Day

The formal requirement for a successful application is a completed training as an event manager (d/m/w) or a completed training as a designer (d/m/w) for visual marketing with at least five years of event experience.
In addition, a command of German at language level C 1 and a willingness to work evenings and weekends are required.
Knowledge and experience of carrying out hazard analyses/risk assessments/safety concepts
Practical experience as an event manager in accordance with § 38 Para. 2 MVStättVO
