Your Job
Here's what you can expect on your journey with us:
- Oversee all operations and staff in the Housekeeping department
- Ensure that quality standards for cleaning and maintenance are met in both passenger and crew areas
- Manage inventory, usage, and distribution of supplies, equipment, and machinery in all areas
- Oversee the operation of the laundry, linen management, etc., and safeguard the ship’s supplies
- Supervise, train, motivate, and lead the team, and effectively address any issues
- Ensure that operations are conducted in compliance with HACCP and other safety and hygiene regulations
- Handle guest concerns and address any service-related or other issues
Your Course & Your Talents
Here's what you bring to the table:
- Vocational training in the hotel industry with a focus on housekeeping
- Work experience in high-end hotels or on cruise ships
- Knowledge of and adherence to HACCP and other relevant safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations
- Management, leadership, organizational, and planning skills
- Fluent in English and/or German, depending on the ship
- Friendly, polite, positive attitude, and team spirit
