As a modern employers’ organization, the DEHOGA Baden-Württemberg Hotel and Restaurant Association advocates for the interests of the state’s hotel and restaurant industry in both political and public spheres.
DEHOGA has approximately 12,000 member businesses statewide. All types of hospitality businesses are represented, from large hotels to small taverns, and from gourmet restaurants to bars. DEHOGA advocates for fair competition and works to reduce bureaucracy and unnecessarily high costs for businesses in the hospitality industry. It also works to enhance the industry’s reputation and promotes training in the hospitality and restaurant sectors. As the representative of employers in the hospitality industry, DEHOGA negotiates collective bargaining agreements. Through its service companies, DEHOGA Baden-Württemberg offers a wide range of services to businesses in the industry.
In Calw, we opened the DEHOGA Campus in September 2022, which creates a modern learning and living environment to complement the local state vocational school. In addition to housing and meals for up to 320 students, we offer an innovative and harmonious environment for trainees with a regionally and sustainably oriented cafeteria, a bistro, and attractive, diverse recreational activities.
