Your tasks
Main responsibilities. In this position, you will be responsible for the entire procurement of the hotel chain in Germany and neighboring countries. You will lead a team of five employees and manage a procurement volume of around 100 million euros. The aim is to strategically and innovatively optimize, restructure and transform the purchasing processes of the expanding hotel chain into a centralized purchasing organization. You will implement identified optimization potentials, develop a modern purchasing strategy and implement it efficiently in a constructive and goal-oriented cooperation with the operational units. One of your main tasks will be to control supplier management. You will negotiate and conclude supplier and framework agreements, ensuring an optimum balance between cost efficiency and quality. You will conduct price and contract negotiations until the contract is concluded. You will also promote the implementation of modern KPI systems to monitor purchasing volumes, inventories, delivery reliability and quality standards. You will identify potential savings and initiate targeted measures to reduce costs and inventories. As a confident leader, you will create a structured and motivating working environment for your team of five.
Your qualifications
Qualifications. You have a degree in business administration, hotel management or a comparable qualification. Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in the hotel or catering industry or in the chain store business, as well as initial management experience are an advantage. You are characterized by a structured way of working and strong analytical skills. In addition, you have a high affinity for numbers and can make decisions that are both strategically sound and operationally feasible. Strong negotiation and communication skills in German and English as well as enthusiasm for innovative approaches are essential to operate successfully in this dynamic, international environment.
