Your Job
In your role on board, you’re a true master of coordination—nothing gets done without you! You play a key role in the ship’s operations and set the course for your team.
- Decision-maker for the entire Hotel Inventory Controlling department
- Management of the onboard inventory of food, beverages, and consumables
- Planning and ordering deliveries, receiving goods, making local purchases, and issuing goods on board, with corresponding system entries
- Ongoing inventory and quality checks of goods on board
- Conducting inventory counts according to the inventory schedule and finalizing voyage accounts in accordance with guidelines
- Ensuring compliance with cleanliness, safety, environmental, and hygiene guidelines (U.S.P.H.) within the Hotel Inventory Controlling department
- Monitoring the food, beverage, and consumables budget
- Contract duration: 4–5 months; follow-up contracts possible
Your Course & Your Talents
What you bring to the table:
- Professional training in the hospitality industry, business training, or verifiable relevant experience in inventory control (e.g., through internal training)
- Several years of professional experience
- Experience in global logistics as well as excellent product knowledge
- Strong computer skills and business-level proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Professional competence, resilience, reliability, and the ability to work independently
- Cost and quality awareness
