The Verein für Evangelische Familienferiendörfer in Württemberg e.V. is looking for a housekeeping manager (m/f/d) for the vacation village in Tieringen at the earliest possible date with a scope of employment of 100% in a permanent position. The Feriendorf Tieringen is a facility of the Verein für Evangelische Familienferiendörfer in Württemberg e.V. based in Stuttgart. The vacation village Tieringen is run all year round with approx. 40,000 overnight stays per year. The vacation village Tieringen has around 18 employees. The entire complex comprises 40 vacation homes and a community house with an indoor swimming pool as well as spacious grounds (5 ha) in the Swabian Alb recreation area.
Your tasks
Ensuring the provision of housekeeping services in the houses and common rooms
Staff management and staff deployment planning as well as holding regular team meetings in the housekeeping area
Responsibility for and involvement in the catering in the dining room (lunch is mostly provided in close cooperation with a caterer)
Organization of purchases (food, drinks, equipment for the vacation homes)
Coordination of suppliers and close cooperation with relevant interfaces, e.g. laundry, caterer, regional baker
Participation in quality assurance and compliance with hygiene and safety standards
Close cooperation with the management and administration of the vacation village
Your qualifications
Completed training as a housekeeper or a comparable qualification
Experience in housekeeping, ideally with management responsibility
Organizational talent and a strong sense of responsibility
High degree of service and service orientation
Flexibility, creativity and a high demand for the satisfaction of vacation village guests
You enjoy housekeeping and looking after guests
You bring ideas and creativity to the management
