The Caritasverband für die Stadt Bonn e.V. is the local welfare organization of the Catholic Church. With more than 1,000 employees, we provide support—in keeping with our motto, “See the need and take action”—for people in the areas of children, youth, and family; integration and rehabilitation; and living and housing for the elderly and those with illnesses. In our more than 60 different facilities and services, we support people according to their individual life situations. As a partner in the local community, we actively promote social cohesion and civic participation for all residents of the federal city of Bonn.
The “Life and Housing in Old Age and Illness” sector includes the five Caritas outpatient nursing stations, day care, and the three residential nursing homes for the elderly. In addition, we offer counseling and social programs for seniors, assisted living, and other services in housekeeping and dementia care.
The Herz-Jesu-Kloster Ramersdorf nursing home provides living space for 80 residents of all care levels in private rooms. A particular focus of the care is on residents living with dementia.
