Management (m/f/d) Destination Management

We are looking for a creative, creative personality for the Tourismus im Weinsberger Tal e.V. as Managing Director (m/f/d) Destination Management in the middle of the wine south of Baden-Württemberg.

Tourismus im Weinsberger Tal e.V. - that is currently 8 municipalities and the local recreation association Breitenauer See. We see ourselves as a partner, player, provider of ideas and networker for our approximately 100 members and service providers. The association runs a tourist information center and an excellent Weinsüden Vinothek with other regional products and producers.

The landscape of the Weinsberg Valley is characterized by excellent vineyards and wooded hills in the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park. Lake Breitenau is a popular local recreation destination for the cities of Heilbronn and Stuttgart.

Exciting future topics and challenges are currently on the agenda. Strategic realignments in various areas, such as wine tourism or cooperation with the new umbrella organization "Im Süden ganz oben" (In the South at the Top), need to be shaped.

The main tasks:

• Management of the association with financial administration and budget planning
• Management of the tourist information center with vinotheque and currently five employees
• Conceptual orientation and further development of the tourism association within the framework of the tourism concepts of the partner organizations HeilbronnerLand, Tourimia Tourismus GmbH and Tourismus Marketing Baden-Württemberg.
• Networking, support and motivation of tourism service providers, recruitment of new members
• Leading organization of the wine festival "Wein am See" in cooperation with Wein am See e.V.

We expect:

• A degree in tourism or business administration with a specialization in tourism or a comparable qualification
• First professional experience
• Entrepreneurial thinking and action combined with a hands-on mentality and a strong understanding of service
• Flexibility and a high degree of independence, decisiveness and creativity as well as a willingness to work in a committed team
• High online affinity and very good knowledge of MS Office applications
• Open-minded and sociable interaction with guests and committees
• Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends and public holidays.
