As the student union for the Bochum universities and the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences in Gelsenkirchen, Recklinghausen and Bocholt, we shape the economic, social and cultural framework conditions for the lives of around 60,000 students. Your tasks
Organization and auditing: You are responsible for the organizational, personnel and administrative management of the guest house operations. You will also draw up service specifications for the cleaning and maintenance of the guest house and monitor these
Guest care: You ensure an excellent guest experience and are the contact person for our guests
Guest satisfaction: You look after our national and international guests and are responsible for acquiring new groups of guests.
Coordination: You will be responsible for coordinating workflows in various departments such as reception, housekeeping and building services
Team building & service: You create schedules for employees and coordinate with external service providers and contractors
Revenue and cost control: You have an overview of the revenue and costs of ongoing hotel operations (approving offers and invoices within the defined administrative budget; processing invoice approvals)
Supplier and service management: You will set up a supplier and service provider structure and are responsible for ensuring compliance with all agreements with guests, suppliers and partners
Reporting: You will prepare monthly reports for the management and provide information on ongoing internal projects and their progress
Your qualifications
Completed training in the hotel industry or a comparable service sector
Relevant professional experience, ideally in the guest service or hotel industry
Initial management experience
Sense of responsibility, organizational talent as well as a service-oriented and professional appearance
Experienced with MS Office
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
Interest in personal development and growth in the hotel industry
