To support the Marketing department of Ruhr Tourismus GmbH (RTG), we are looking for an employee (m/f/d) from 01.09.2025 to develop, coordinate and implement communication strategies and measures for the Tag der Trinkhallen event in cooperation with the Event department.
We have a mission: to establish the Ruhr region as a creative destination among travel destinations. Because there are more than just a few beautiful corners in the Ruhr, and there is always the next festival, cultural event or scene highlight somewhere. Reason enough to make the Ruhr more than just an insider tip.

Your tasks

Conception, planning and coordination of all marketing measures
Responsible for designing print products & managing the production process
Creation and further development of online communication (website/social media)
Conception of content (text, images & moving images)
Development and implementation of marketing cooperations
Creation of project plans & schedules
Creation & implementation of
Social media campaigns &amp
Digital advertising measures
Creation of editorial plans &amp
Video editing for the social media channels
Implementation of sponsorship measures &amp
Management of service providers
Invoice auditing/processing
Implementation of contract awards

Your qualifications

Completed bachelor’s or university of applied sciences degree in tourism, marketing/communications & specialist professional experience
Knowledge of destination marketing & event marketing
Sound knowledge of online marketing
Sound knowledge of social media channels incl. internal marketing tools & legal basics
Knowledge of the implementation of classic offline marketing measures
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Sound user knowledge of TYPO 3 and other CMS
Editorial skills (text/editing)
Knowledge of public procurement
Flexibility & initiative
