To strengthen our editorial team, we are looking for you at our Frankfurt am Main location as Online Editor (m/f/d) for the hotel and gastronomy media with a focus on the general hotel and gastronomy newspaper.

This is what it's all about

  • Reporting on exciting topics in the hotel and restaurant industry
  • Operational management of ahgz's digital presence in close cooperation with the other editorial team members
  • Ensuring compliance with editorial standards and quality assurance
  • Developing new content formats
  • Monitoring website performance and analyzing user numbers
  • Strategic further development of ahgz's digital presence in coordination with other departments such as Sales and IT
  • Strategic development and operational management of social media channels

What sets you apart

  • You have experience and in-depth knowledge of the various forms of journalistic presentation, especially in online media
  • You are familiar with SEO and common analytics tools
  • You have a talent for organization and the ability to keep track of multiple projects
  • You edit texts from other editors on different topics with confidence and errors immediately catch your eye
  • You are familiar with content management systems as well as digital image and video editing
  • The journalistic use of social media and the exchange with the online community are a matter of course for you
  • Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS) for better communication with the technical departments is an advantage
