Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your trip with us:
- Management of the fitness area and all its facilities
- Professional delivery of sports activities and classes offered to guests both on board and ashore
- Organizing and conducting personalized training programs in the form of our own training offerings (as a paid service) to provide individualized support to guests
- Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene, as well as maintenance and safety throughout the entire fitness area, including the crew fitness room
- Responsibility for the storage and inventory of sports equipment, as well as proactive reordering in consultation with product management
- Supporting the onboard tourism team (e.g., during embarkation and disembarkation, as well as accompanying guests on shore excursions)
- Assisting guests during the outbound and return flights, as well as during pre- and post-cruise activities
Your Course & Your Talents
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:
- Completed vocational training in sports or sports science, or in a medical profession (e.g., physical therapy)
- Certification as a personal trainer from specific training institutes (e.g., SAFS & BETA, Meridian Academy, LEAD)
- Additional training in gymnastics (e.g., aerobics, Nordic walking, etc.) and/or meditative training methods (e.g., yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, etc.) is desirable
- Professional and industry experience
- Very good German and English skills (spoken and written)
- Proof of a first aid certificate
- Willingness to pursue continuing education in new areas, e.g., EMS, Les Mil
