For the new Hotel Management (BA) course at the International School of Management (ISM) in Munich , we are looking to fill the following position from April 1, 2026
Full-time or part-timeprofessorship (m/f/d) to be filled.
You want to
- help set up the newly founded dual study program Bachelor of Arts Hotel Management, which will start on 01.09.2026 in Munich in presence as well as online throughout Europe. Practical partners from the hotel industry such as Motel One and the college will provide support.
- represent the field of hotel management in teaching and research, especially in Munich, and train new specialists and managers for the hotel industry.
- Design course materials, give lectures in presence as well as online and supervise students individually (e.g. exams, theses)
- teach some of the following topics related to the hotel industry in a professional and pedagogical manner: Hotel management, revenue management, gastronomy, F&B management, quality and service management, marketing & social media, IT systems & e-commerce, project management
- work on modern teaching formats and develop these further together with the teaching staff as part of the ISM didactic concept.
You have
- completed a university degree in hotel or tourism management or a similar discipline with good grades and have a relevant doctorate.
- have at least five years of professional experience related to the hotel industry, including three years outside the hotel industry
- have already gained experience in teaching and can demonstrate their expertise in relevant subject areas through relevant publications or projects.
Are fluent in German and English in face-to-face teaching and virtual courses in their portfolio and also work reliably and motivated in a team
