OstWestfalenLippe GmbH is a joint venture between the districts of the region and the independent city of Bielefeld, as well as the business and scientific communities, with 55 employees. As a “company for the promotion of the region”, OstWestfalenLippe GmbH has the task of strengthening OstWestfalenLippe in the competition between regions. To this end, various instruments of project development and project management, marketing, press and public relations work and regional development are implemented in the fields of regional development/regional marketing, sustainability, digitalization, education, mobility, tourism and culture.
Teutoburger Wald Tourismus der OstWestfalenLippe GmbH is the destination management organization for the region, based in Bielefeld.
With around 7 million overnight stays and over 2 million arrivals, the Teutoburg Forest is one of the most important tourist destinations in North Rhine-Westphalia. The region stands for quality active and health vacations in a cultural landscape steeped in history.
The Hermannshöhen is one of the “Top Trails of Germany”, the best hiking trails in Germany, and is the highlight hiking offer of the Teutoburg Forest hiking region.
Your tasks
Coordination and implementation of the ERDF project “ZeitenWandern Hermannshöhen”
Organization and moderation of project steering and working groups with the support of the project assistant
Management of agencies and service providers in marketing, product development and hiking infrastructure
Carrying out tenders, awards and calls for funds with the support of the project assistant and an awarding office
Networking and lobbying work and joint development of a future concept for the “Hermannshöhen” project
Your qualifications
Successfully completed studies in tourism, marketing, geography or alternatively a comparable qualification
Communication skills and the ability to moderate project meetings
Organizational talent and experience in project management
Knowledge of tourism in Germany and hiking tourism in particular
Independent and structured way of working
Team and organizational skills, enjoy working with numbers and people
