Reception and reception manager (m/f/d)

Tasks:
- Host role: Create unforgettable "castle moments" and ensure a warm and professional guest experience at reception
- Reception management: Take over the management of the reception team and represent the sales and event management if required
- Team leadership: Lead and support the reception team including trainees and promote a positive team culture
- Check-In & Check-Out: Ensure a professional and smooth check-in and check-out process for our hotel guests
- Reservation management: Take reservations and process them reliably in the system
- Guest care: Accompany our guests attentively from arrival to departure and ensure excellent service
- Event planning: Plan and organize events with a focus on weddings and conferences
- Negotiation & Cooperation: Conduct negotiations with tour operators and maintain existing partnerships
- Revenue management: Participate in the establishment and further development of structured revenue management
- Functions sheets & occupancy : Create functions sheets and maintain an overview of daily occupancy figures and events
- Guest relations: Provide information and recommend suitable castle offers and excursion options in the region to our guests
- Guest data management: Build up a structured guest database and maintain it continuously
- Complaint management: Develop a professional complaint management system and handle complaints in a solution-oriented manner
- Communication: Ensure structured handovers and transparent, cross-departmental information transfer
- Concept development: Work creatively on new concepts, arrangements and event offers
Your profile:
- Training: You have completed training as a restaurant or hotel specialist
- Professional experience: You have at least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable position in the upscale hotel or catering industry
- Language skills: You have a good command of German and ideally English at a conversational level
- Communication: You are characterized by excellent written and telephone correspondence skills
- IT skills: You have a good knowledge of MS Office and how to use common IT systems
- Additional qualification: AEVO training is desirable
