Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your journey with us:
- Your responsibilities will include both front desk duties and guest services, known as Guest Services. You’ll report to the Guest Services Manager.
- As a Guest Service Associate, you’ll be the first point of contact at the front desk for handling various guest inquiries.
- Administrative tasks, including preparing reports, ship logs, etc., as well as assisting guests with check-in and check-out
- Conducting ship tours and special activities, including shuffleboard and bingo
- Advising guests and inspiring their enthusiasm for the services offered on board and at the various destinations
- Contract duration for your first assignment: 5–6 months, with the possibility of subsequent contracts
- Your assignment will be scheduled based on your availability in conjunction with the onboard staffing plan and is generally possible year-round on any day of the month.
Your Course & Your Talents
What you bring to the table:
- Professional training in the hospitality, food service, or tourism industries
- Several years of professional experience working at the front desk or in guest services
- A team player with strong organizational skills and a sense of responsibility
- Strong service orientation
- Very good German and good English skills
- Very good computer skills
