(Senior) Manager Data Science (m/f/d)
Your previous course
- Degree in economics, ideally with a specialization in mathematics, computer science, operations research or comparable courses of study
- Several years of experience in database management, forecasting models, reporting and a strong interest in AI technologies –
- Management experience of small or medium-sized teams or leadership in projects
- Very good German and good English skills
- Strong analytical skills and a high degree of initiative and solution orientation
- Confident handling of statistical software for data analysis as well as experience in the analysis and visualization of large amounts of data
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and sound knowledge of Oracle SQL an advantage
Your destination
- Responsibility for the Science and Data Team in the Revenue Management division
- Development and optimization of decision and forecasting models for price and quota management using mathematical methods and models
- Cross-divisional collaboration with other teams, also in an international environment
- Responsibility for the technical implementation of reports and analyses, including the development and maintenance of relevant data structures, modernization of divisional reporting and the software used
- Promoting the exchange of interfaces between specialist departments, IT and management – with the aim of identifying and anchoring data-driven solutions
- Targeted integration of AI potential to further develop existing systems and processes innovatively
- Managing and developing employees and, if interested, supervising working students and final theses
