Variety guaranteed! We’re looking for someone to confidently take on all kitchen duties. Your responsibilities will include creating picking lists, checking tray layouts, serving lunch, and portioning and plating meals. In addition, you’ll conduct temperature checks, inspect goods in the cold storage rooms, take retention samples, and oversee the handover. You’ll also independently place orders with all suppliers and receive, inspect, and put away delivered goods.
Central Point of Contact & Organization: You will be the first point of contact for patients as well as other professionals (nursing staff, therapists, nutritionists). You will also create and modify duty rosters and represent kitchen management at meetings and appointments.
More predictable work schedules than in the restaurant industry due to fixed meal times in the hospital setting (willingness to work rotating shifts required);
