The historic festival barn dating back to 1896 is the special jewel of the Heide Hotel and offers a spacious indoor area and dance floor with integrated bar, as well as direct access to the spacious outdoor terrace which is ideal for hosting your wedding.

The historic manor house is home to the VITUS restaurant, which impresses with its rural elegance. In addition to the festival barn and the Vitus restaurant, the hotel facilities include a spacious breakfast room and seven conference rooms for up to 180 people. The hotel also has 89 rooms and a large spa area.

Your tasks

As a Sous Chef at Heide Hotel, you will be an integral part of our culinary team and support our Head Chef in managing a first-class kitchen facility. Your main tasks will include:

  • Pro-actively supporting the Head Chef in the planning and creation of menus, focusing on regionality, freshness and quality
  • Ensuring high standards in terms of food presentation and taste
  • Leading and supporting the kitchen team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen
  • You will be responsible for ordering and managing food and kitchen equipment
  • You will monitor and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety measures (HACCP)

Your profile

  • Completed training as a chef (m/f/d)
  • Professional experience in a comparable position
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, even in stressful situations
