Your tasks
As a specialist area manager in company catering, you focus on fresh, seasonal and regional products and work with your team to develop modern, healthy dishes that pick up on trends and reflect the spirit of the times. You always keep an eye on gastronomic innovations and make targeted use of them.
Service is not just a task for you, but an attitude. Whether in the conference area, at events, in the company restaurant or in communication zones – you ensure outstanding service quality and positively surprise your guests.
You maintain a close exchange with guests as well as internal and external partners. Their wishes and expectations are actively incorporated into your strategic and operational work. Guest satisfaction is the key success factor for you.
Efficiency characterizes your actions. You manage processes in a clear, structured way with a commercial focus and give your team clear direction through your way of working. Cross-project collaboration is just as important to you as excellent results. Your sound experience in budget planning, cost control and costing helps you to maintain a balance between cost-effectiveness and quality.
You work closely with specialist departments such as property management, marketing and corporate communications and contribute to the successful implementation of top-class events. You are no stranger to the requirements of the Assembly Venue Ordinance.
You recognize opportunities for further development, actively drive the digitalization and automation of your area and make targeted use of modern technologies. Environmentally conscious action is important to you. You develop sustainable concepts in catering and event management and select suppliers according to ecological criteria.
Your usual working hours are from Monday to Friday. For individual events, you will be prepared to work evenings or weekends – with fair compensation, of course. You will lead your team with an open, respectful feedback culture and create an environment in which creative ideas can grow. You are a role model in leadership, communication and collaboration.
Your qualifications
You have completed training in the catering industry and have a degree in catering management, hotel management or a comparable field.
You have several years of management experience in the catering, hotel or event industry.
You have experience in budget planning, process control and quality management.
You have a passion for first-class service and innovative catering concepts.
A hands-on mentality, flexibility and a high digital affinity are a matter of course for you.
Thinking and acting sustainably is part of your DNA.
You are a strong communicator, team-oriented and always on the lookout for new solutions.
