Your Job
Here’s what you can expect on your journey with us:
- Providing new and existing crew members with uniforms in accordance with guidelines, as well as for special events
- Repairs, maintenance, and alterations to uniforms, curtains, and terry cloth items
- You will be the point of contact for all concerns and inquiries regarding uniforms
- Among other things, you’ll be responsible for assessing needs (taking inventory) and ordering uniforms in accordance with guidelines
- Advising on and performing all types of alterations to guests’ clothing
- In this position, you are part of the housekeeping team and report to the head housekeeper
- Maintaining the workstation and equipment in consultation with the head housekeeper
- Term of your first contract: 4–6 months (subject to individual agreement)
Your Course & Your Talents
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:
- A successfully completed apprenticeship as a tailor, fashion designer, or alteration specialist, or several years of professional experience in this field
- You’re an organized and communicative team player, but you’re also capable of working independently
- You’re reliable, resilient, and have no trouble staying service-oriented even in stressful situations
- You have excellent manners
- Proficiency with computers (especially MS Office and Outlook)
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
