Canteens, accommodation, BAföG, daycare centers: As a partner of the four universities in Aachen, we accompany over 64,000 young people on their way through their studies on behalf of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. For our gastronomy department, we are looking for a
Your tasks
Organization of production and operational processes
Supporting the kitchen management with production and staff deployment planning
Preparation, cooking and serving of meals
Compliance with and monitoring of all quality standards and preparation of documentation (QM, QS, HACCP)
Calculation of recipes
Proper stock keeping including checking the storage rooms
Staff management and motivation
Your qualifications
Completed vocational training in the catering sector
Relevant professional and management experience in canteen kitchen production or system catering
Knowledge of labeling and declaration requirements as well as occupational safety
Knowledge of handling machines and canteen kitchen technology
Flexible operational readiness between 6:00 am and 9:30 pm
Leadership skills, initiative and a strong understanding of service
Very good teamwork skills, communication skills and a confident manner
